Christian Eriksen honoured at graffiti wall in euro village

A tribute to Christian Eriksen has been created in the Football Village in Copenhagen.

A graffiti wall with a painting of Christian Eriksen and the Danish tribute sentences “Gold to Denmark – again” and “Come on Denmark” has been added with thousands of supporting and respectful sentences to Christian Eriksen recovery.

Thomas Andersen, that normally works in a bank also wrote to Christian Eriksen: “You fought for us, now we are going to fight for you”

His friend Jesper Engvang, engineer, 25 also wrote for good recovery and health.

All fans hope to see Christian Eriksen back after Saturday’s heart attack during the first Danish match against Finland in the Danish homeground stadium “Parken”.

A group of 13-14 year old boys playing in the Football Village’s little footfall field, was also moved and felt a deep respect for Christian Eriksen.

14 year old Måns Bank Olsen would write “Pray for him…yeah”. and his 13 year old friend
Sofus Holm Henriksen believes “he is going to come back very strong, because I believe in him”.

The wall was made Sunday after the match by international Danish graffiti artist Mix Madsen.

Media and people have used the wall to express and show the reactions after the dramatic event Saturday.

A way to communicate and heale people’s feelings.
Christian Eriksen is now in good spirit and is going through tests.

The Football village in Copenhagen is part of UEFA’s EURO set up and The special themes in EURO Copenhagen Football village’s are street, park and beach – and now also Christian Eriksen.
