STORY

Mette Frederiksen and the red parties in Denmark got 90 red mandats.

Despite a very late night, did the newspaper get out.

Gas station employee Marcus Otto 24 says: “The democracy have talked and that is what we are going with”.

Inspite the election vent on until 3 in thee morning did many as a tradition stay all night and discus the result.

Minister of Finance, Nicolaj Wammen, that is considered as nr. 2 in the old government party Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) said:
It is our aim to make a government with both center, left and center right parties. And because Denmark is challenged, like most of Europe, by very high inflation, the highest in 40 years, but also, of course, with Russia’s terrible war in Ukraine and other issues. It is time, in our view, to make a broad coalition government.”

Chairman The International Committee Jens Georg Bagge, also from Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) said:
“Well, I will say it has been the most exciting result also for this election. We didn’t expect that we will get that close because of the exit polls, because of the many parties who people have voted on, 14 parties.”

Minister of Finance, Nicolaj Wammen, ends: “Now the Danes have spoken, and I hope that the other parties will take stock of this election result and that everyone will get into a constructive move so that we hopefully can make a broad coalition government that would be the best for them.”

The government steps back, in spite they have the 90 red mandat it takes to stay, but Mette Frederiksen wants a government with both the red and blue parties; both socialist and liberal parties.
