Send the mp4 file, but also the XML file:
Technically the XML allows our desk to then have the cuts in the right places when processing the footage in our system. The XML export should be done right after exporting the mp4 making sure there is no “in” or “out” point on your timeline
( know that’s odd but that’s how it is)

SOUNDBITE 1 – Martin Hanko, clinical psychologist (male, 44 years old, English, 22 sec):

“I’m afraid of a vaccine mandate for children who are not in the risk population of Covid 19, I don’t deny Covid 19, I’m not a member of a right-wing party or else. I am a free Austrian who wants to live free in this country. “

SOUNDBITE 2 – Angelika , protester (female, 58 years old, German, 12 sec):

“We don’t want for the mandatory vaccinations to come in on the first of February, we want to protect our children! Viva la liberté!”

SOUNDBITE 3 – Martin , nurse (male, 34 years old, German, 19 sec):

“It’s a matter of freedom, the integrity of our body is at risk, and that just cannot be, that’s the reason why we take the streets together, for the generations to come, to fight for them. It will not stop with the obligation of vaccination if we stay still without doing anything. “

Normally we make two edits

(1) The first one shortly after the shooting (as soon as you feel you have enough visual elements) is a one minute block of images only, each shot should at least last 4 seconds and can be longer if it’s justified by a camera movement for instance.

(2) The second one as you’re done with covering is an edit with 1 to 2 minutes of images block (different than the first edit) and then 2/4 soundbites separated by a 1 second black space.
Each soundbite shouldn’t be longer than 20 seconds
